A Fresh Start ~ How To: Survive In The Jungle

My first week of school is officially over and honestly it proved to be much harder than I thought that it would be.

Year 10 involves a lot of hard work (all of which I am prepared to do) but it did hit me with a bang and by the second day I was stressed. The work isn't overwhelming but it will literally pile up quickly if you don't do each piece on the day that it's set.

Staying On The Topic Of School...

I have noticed that over the years many people feel as though first impressions are everything at school. Obviously if you're meeting new people you want to be kind and you don't want to be disliked but I feel as though first impressions are not anything to get stressed or upset about. I know people who have given up on the idea of 'change for the better' because they think that their reputation is already ruined.

Some people don't realise that other people's opinion of you can change and the thoughts of others should never stop you from achieving something that you really want to achieve.

In school I definitely feel as though my class mates become new people each year and teachers' perceptions of pupils change too. The person that you were in Year 7 is almost forgotten by the time that you reach Year 9. People expect you to behave the way that you do now and see you as the person that you are right now.

People change all of the time because they keep growing and learning and continue to craft 'who they are' and what they believe.

It's never too late to start again and change the course of history. It's all up to you.
